Fundraising Priorities

On an annual basis, the Foundation development staff collaborates with Washburn University leadership and deans to discuss and establish the fundraising priorities for the current year. These priorities are in place to benefit the academic units and meet other needs on campus. 

Scholarships

Scholarships have a direct impact on current and future generations of Washburn students. Increasing scholarship aid for Washburn students is an identified priority of Washburn University Foundation. Providing critical scholarship support allows Washburn students to focus on pursuing their academic goals and spend more time enjoying campus life. Washburn University Foundation seeks to reduce the financial burden many students face and allow our students to enjoy the Ichabod experience to its fullest. Annual Fund

Annual giving is a central component to helping students at Washburn University become successful as its the foundation of everything else we do. Annual fund gifts assist in meeting the university's central needs and take advantage of opportunities when they arise. Sometimes the funds do keep the lights on, but they also respond to unanticipated opportunities and fund new, innovative programs or courses so we can continue to provide an exceptional education.
