Top of the Tower Luncheon
We’re bringing together Washburn alumni from opposite sides of the justice system—a defense attorney and a former prosecutor—to discuss overturned convictions, a hot news item both nationally and locally. The story of Steven Avery spawned the hit documentary Making a Murderer, and the dismissal of Floyd Bledsoe, after spending 15 years in prison for murder, has been a much-discussed local topic.

• Nola Tedesco Foulston, jd '76, former prosecutor for Sedgwick County responsible for the trials of the BTK killer, Carr Brothers, and Scott Roeder
• Billy Rork, ba '76 & jd '79, widely-known Topeka criminal defense attorney
• Moderated by Ralph Hipp from WIBW-13 in Topeka
